Timothy M. Castle, 42, of Fort Wayne, Ind., formerly of Malta Bend, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2006, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Ft. Wayne. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Rd., where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday. Friends may also call one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall or to the family of Timothy M. Castle.
Born March 18, 1964, in Marshall, he was the son of Harold "Bud" Castle and Dee Newell Castle, who survive, of Marshall. He was a 1982 graduate of Malta Bend High School and a 1987 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in plant science. On March 7, 1992, in Ft. Wayne, Ind., he married Erika Diettritch, who survives of the home. He was owner of Zestos Ice Cream for 10 years and was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two daughters, Elly E. Castle and Emmy E. Castle, both of the home; one brother, Tom Castle of Malta Bend; four sisters, Laura Thiel and husband Billy of Marshall, Lisa Officer and husband Dave of Ozark, Jennifer Dunn and husband Brent of Nixa, Julie Downs and husband Lenny of Springfield; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sebastian and DaVonna Diettritch; one brother-in-law, John Diettritch; one sister-in-law, Kerristin Connor and husband Chris, all of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; along with five nieces and four nephews.
