Blanetta Frances Crawford, 88, of Tyler, Texas, died Friday, June 30, 2006.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 6, at Belton Christian Church in Belton. Visitation was held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 3, at Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home in Tyler. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, at McGilley and George Belton Chapel. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 6, in Sunset Memorial Park in Marshall.
Born Aug. 9, 1917, in Marshall, she lived in Tyler the past five years and was formerly of Belton, Kansas City, Marshall and Kirksville. She was a clerk-typist for the IRS. She was a member of the Ambassador Baptist Church in Tyler and the Belton Christian Church in Belton.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald K. Crawford and son, Larry Dean Crawford.
Survivors include sons Gary Crawford, Arp, Texas; Ron D. Crawford, Lawrence, Kan.; and Jim K. Crawford, West Allis, Wisc. and daughter Barbara F. Hart, Lakewood, N.J.; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
