Mildred Taylor Cochenour, 92, of Magnolia, Ky., formerly of Marshall, died Sunday, June 18, 2006, at her home.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, at Harmony Cemetery near Miami. Rev. Darrel Douglas will officiate. Pallbearers will be Bobby Hunt, Ross Hunt, Calvin Kirchhoff, Karl Kirchhoff, Kenneth Kirchhoff and Jedidiah Rice. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sweeney-Reser-Wills Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to the family in care of the funeral home.
Born Nov. 25, 1913, at Elmwood, she was the daughter of the late John and Mallie Ziegle Hunt. In 1937 she married William "Feet" Gibson, who preceded her in death. In 1940 she married George Taylor, who preceded her in death in 1958. In 1960 she married Roy Cochenour, who preceded her in death. She had been a resident of Marshall for many years and had lived in the Carrollton, Bosworth and Warrensburg areas before moving to Kentucky, where she resided for the last nine years.
Survivors include one son, Don H. Gibson of Warrensburg; one daughter, Rosa Lee Taylor of Joplin; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by one son, four brothers and four sisters.
