William "Bill" Dambacher, 75, of Grand Pass, died Tuesday, June 13, 2006, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 16, at Grand Pass Community Cemetery. William W. Harlow will officiate. Pallbearers will be Joshua Dambacher, Christopher Sassmann, Eric Sassmann, Jamie Orear, Michaela Orear, Toby Rich and Holly Sassmann. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 15, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to the Nicholas-Beazley Aviation Museum.
Born Oct. 12, 1930, in Independence, Kan., he was the son of the late Howard Dambacher and Erma Koger Dambacher. On Nov. 26, 1976, he married Joyce A. Rich Reynolds, who survives of the home. He had lived in the Grand Pass area the last 30 years and was a crop duster for 48 years. He was a Methodist.
Additional survivors include one son, Robert G. Dambacher and wife Debra of Lenexa, Kan.; two daughters, Becky Plattner and husband Russell of Grand Pass and Tammy Sassmann and husband James of Warsaw; two sisters, Marie Corle and husband Earl of Richmond and Wanda Biggs and husband Jim of Perry, Kan.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Michael Dambacher; and two brothers, Harold Dambacher and Ronald Dambacher.
