Dora Ellen Narron, 80, of Miami, died Saturday, June 10, 2006, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 15, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. William W. Harlow will officiate. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to Fitzgibbon-Mary Montgomery Hospice.
Born Nov. 19, 1925, in Miami, she was the daughter of the late Gussie Chevalier and Vessie Rose Chevalier. On July 30, 1944, in Kansas City, Kan., she married William R. Narron, who preceded her in death Dec. 16, 1999. She had lived in Miami most of her life and retired from the Marshall Habilitation Center. She was a member of Shiloh Presbyterian Church in Miami and Friends of Miami.
Survivors include four children, Billy Joe Narron of Miami, Brenda Roberts of Beavercreek, Ohio, JoAnn Crosswhite of St. Louis and Warren L. Narron of Excelsior Springs; two brothers, James G. Chevalier of Marshall and JoDale Chevalier of Miami; one sister, Bonnie Boedeker of Marshall; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
