Peggy A. Hall, 59, of Sweet Springs, died Friday, May 26, 2006, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Sweet Springs. Rev. Charles Ahlemann will officiate. Pallbearers will be Brian French, Jason Pauley, Chris French, Wayne Loper, Chester George, Dick Hall, Joey Winfrey and Cary Brandon. Honorary pallbearers will be Clyde Hemme, Charlie Jackson, Neal Schrader, Levi Smith, Dalton Smith, Floyd Hall, Mark Smith and Gary Knight. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Sweet Springs, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in Payne Cemetery in rural Johnson County. Memorials are suggested to I-70 Medical Center or First Baptist Church in Sweet Springs.
Born March 8, 1947, in Iberia, she was the daughter of Harold Sauls and Lola Dake Sauls, who survive of Sedalia. On Jan. 17, 1970, she married Seaton D. Hall, who survives of the home. She had lived in Sweet Springs since the 1970s and was a member of Faith Assembly of God in Concordia. She had worked at International Shoe Factory, Sweet Springs Hospital, Roxbury Press and was a homemaker. She was selected as Grandmother of the Year for the Sweet Springs R-7 School District.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Kelly S. Shearer and Lola A. Smith, both of Sweet Springs; one son, Seaton Earl Hall of Sedalia; one brother, Gene Sauls of Jefferson City; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
