Sue Case, 76, of Independence, died Saturday, May 20, 2006, at Independence Regional Health Center in Independence.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, at Chapel of Memories Funeral Home in Grain Valley. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens in Grain Valley. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Born July 27, 1929, in Hays, Kan., she worked for 25 years at the Lake City Army Ammunitions Plant. She loved to collect antiques and Snow Babies and enjoyed spending her free time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include one son, Michael Case and wife Helen of Blue Springs; one daughter, Terry Trezise of Independence; four granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, William Case, born in Marshall; parents Cecil and Nettie DeWitt; three sisters, Wanda, Jean and Wynetta; and one brother, Bill.
