Audrey E. Salzer, 83, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Slater, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2006, in Tucson.

Burial of her cremated remains will be held later this summer at Slater City Cemetery under the direction of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.

Born Nov. 20, 1922, in Slater, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Florence Elizabeth Jones Salzer. She was a graduate of Slater High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia. She taught in the Clinton, Iowa, public school system and the Tucson, Ariz., public school system for 30 years until retirement. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Tucson.
