Jeanne K. Salzer

Jeanne K. Salzer, 80, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Slater, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2001, in Tucson, Ariz.

Burial of cremated remains will be held later this summer at Slater City Cemetery under the direction of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.

Born March 29, 1921, in Slater, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Florence Elizabeth Jones Salzer. She was a graduate of Slater High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia. She taught in the Palmyra public school system and the Tucson, Ariz., public school system for 31 years before retirement. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Tucson, Ariz.
