Alice Marie McFadden, 87, of Lexington, died Thursday, May 4, 2006, at Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 8, at the United Methodist Church in Lexington. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 7, at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington. Burial will be in Lexington Memory Gardens. Memorials are suggested to the church.
Born March 12, 1919, in Concordia, she was the daughter of the late Daniel C. Wahrenbrock and Christine Winter Wahrenbrock. On Jan. 30, 1943, in Lexington, she married Leo Tracy McFadden, who preceded her in death Oct. 29, 2001. She was a member of Lexington United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, a church quilter, P.E.O. and Locust Grove Extension Club.
Survivors include four children, Brenda Chesterton and husband Steve of Overland Park, Kan., Sharon Hoeflicker of Marshall, Gary McFadden and wife Magda of Grapevine, Texas, and Roger McFadden of Lexington; one brother, Leland Wahrenbrock of Bakersfield, Calif.; five grandchildren, Anna and Will Chesterton, Nathan Hoeflicker and wife Samantha, Christy Butner and husband Tom and Daniel Martinez; and three great-grandchildren, Triston and Hunter Hoeflicker and Wesley Davis.
