Graduations to begin Saturday

Graduation ceremonies for area colleges and high schools include the following commencement ceremonies:

-- Marshall High School: 2 p.m. Sunday, May 21, at the Marshall High School sports complex;

-- Malta Bend High School: 7 p.m. Sunday, May 14, in the Malta Bend High School gym;

-- Missouri Valley College: 2 p.m. Saturday, May 6, at Gregg Mitchell Field on the MVC campus or in Volney Ashford Gymnasium in case of rain;

-- Saline County High School: 7 p.m. Thursday, May 11, in the Little Theater at Marshall High School;

-- Santa Fe High School: 2 p.m. Sunday, May 21, in the gym at Santa Fe High School in Alma;

-- Slater High School: 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 13, at the high school football field or in the high school gym in case of rain;

-- Sweet Springs High School: 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 12, in the high school gym.

Baccalaureate ceremonies will also be held at a number of area schools, including:

-- Marshall High School: 4 p.m. Sunday, May 14 at St. Peter Catholic Church;

-- Malta Bend High School: 6 p.m. in the Malta Bend High School gym;

-- Missouri Valley College: 11 a.m. at Gregg Mitchell Field on the MVC campus or in Volney Ashford Gymnasium in case of rain;

-- Santa Fe High School: 7:30 p.m. Sunday, May 14 in the gym at Santa Fe High School in Alma;

-- Slater High School: 7 p.m. Sunday, May 7 in the high school gym.

-- Sweet Springs High School: 6:30 p.m. in the high school gym.
