Robert F. Wilson

Robert F. Wilson, 74, of Grand Prairie, Texas, died Thursday, April 20, 2006, at Grand Prairie, Texas.

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 23, in Arlington, Texas. Burial was in Arlington, Texas.

Born April 4, 1932, southeast of Marshall in Saline County, he was the son of Helen Wilson, who survives, and the late George S. Wilson. He married Joan Elgin of Marshall, who preceded him in death. He was a former resident of Saline County and was a member of the Methodist church in Grand Prairie, Texas. He attended schools in Mt. Leonard, Shelby and Napton. He was a 1949 graduate of Marshall High School. He worked as an electrician at Hagar Slacks and retired from Miller Brewery. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Korean War.

Additional survivors include one son, Brent Wilson; one daughter, LuAnn Brown; one brother, H.H. Wilson of Napton; and four grandchildren.
