Walter W. Graham, 90, of Marshall, died Sunday, April 30, 2006, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Rev. N. Paul Callahan will officiate. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, at the funeral home. Burial will in Slater City Cemetery in Slater. Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church, American Cancer Society or Children's Mercy Hospital.

Born April 30, 1916, in Freemont, Iowa, he was the son of the late Samuel Walker Graham and Lola Ray Young Graham. In 1935, he married Helen Stearns, who preceded him in death Feb. 6, 1955. On Aug. 13, 1955, he married Pauline Wheeler Butler, who survives of the home. He had lived in Marshall the last 18 years, moving from Heber Springs, Ark., and had also lived in Independence and Odessa. He was retired from General Motors in Kansas City. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Marshall.

Additional survivors include two daughters, Beverly Butler of Higginsville and Patricia Shepard of Greenfield; one son, Robert Graham of Independence; one sister, Gwen Clark of Grand Junction, Colo.; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Graham; one daughter, Donna Ford; three sisters and one brother.
