Betty Jean "Bone" Green, 76, of Marshall, died Saturday, April 22, 2006, in Holden.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. William W. Harlow will officiate. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Old Lamine Cemetery in Cooper County. Memorials are suggested to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City in memory of her grandson, Tyson Christy.
Born Oct. 26, 1929, in Blackwater, she was the daughter of the late Jewell Fenical and Mary Elizabeth Turley Fenical. On Sept. 10, 1947, she married Junior Lloyd Green, who preceded her in death Jan. 14, 1991. She was raised in Blackwater and had also lived in the Arrow Rock and Hardeman communities before moving to Marshall in 1991. She was a homemaker and a member of Lamine Church of Christ.
Survivors include her children: Cindy Reynolds and husband Jim of Holden, Butch Green and wife Penny of Warsaw, Keith Green and wife Carolyn of Marshall, Brenda Christy and husband Tim of Arrow Rock, Tammie Smith and friend Mark Curry of Kingsville, Kim Kruger and husband David of Slater and Rickie Green and wife Kim of Blackwater; two brothers, Bobby Fenical of Blackwater and Turley Fenical of New Franklin; 18 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Tyson Christy and Jessica Kruger.
