William W. "Bill" Taylor Jr., 62, of Slater, died Tuesday, April 21, 2006, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 21, at First Baptist Church in Slater. Rev. David L. Duncan will officiate. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Slater. Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery in Slater. Memorials are suggested to Fitzbiggon-Mary Montgomery Hospice in care of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.
Born Nov. 18, 1943, in Eldon, he was the son of the late William W. Taylor, Sr. and Rosalee Long Taylor. On Jan. 30, 1965, in Slater, he married Sherry Carver, who survives of the home. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Slater. He owned and operated Taylor Concrete and Trucking in Slater since 1979.
Additional survivors include one son, Michael Taylor of Slater; two daughters, Karen Johnson of Marshall and Roxane Skinner of Slater; and five grandchildren.
