Rick Walbourn, 46, of Kansas City, formerly of Sweet Springs, died Saturday, April 1, 2006, at North Kansas City Hospital.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 8, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. William W. Harlow will officiate. Honorary pallbearers will be Rob Welch, John Crank, Tom Duffey and Junior Simmons. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
Born April 22, 1959, in Kansas City, he was the son of the late Jess "Bill" Walbourn and Emma Lou Forte Walbourn. On Aug. 26, 2000, he married Sandra Rene Stimpson, who survives of the home. He had lived in Kansas City since 2001 and was a laborer with Union Local 1290.
Additional survivors include one daughter, Lisa Marie Walbourn of the state of Arkansas; two brothers, Bill Walbourn of Sedalia and Ron Walbourn of Hughesville; two sisters, Linda Hall of Versailles and Vickey Phillips of Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
