Leona Elizabeth Davis, 93, died March 20, 2006, in Springfield, Ohio.

She was born April 21, 1912, in Carmi, Ill. Cremation. An April 8 memorial service is planned in Ohio. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery.

She was a former resident of Marshall and Slater before moving to New Carlisle, Ohio, to be near her daughter, Joyce Ward, and six grandchildren, who survive.

Additional survivors include two brothers, Thomas Absher of Marshall and Gene Absher of Columbia; and one sister, Pat Carl of Little Rock, Ark.
