According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, James W. Parrish, 16, lost control of a 1996 Geo while southbound on County Road 129 shortly after 11 a.m. The Geo traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned before coming to rest on its wheels.
Parrish, who was ejected, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall by private vehicle.
He was issued summons for not having insurance, not wearing a seat belt, not registering a vehicle with the Department of Revenue and careless and imprudent driving.
