Mary Lou Holman, 74, of Kansas City, formerly of Saline County, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006, at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, Feb. 20, at Malta Bend Cemetery in Malta Bend. William W. Harlow will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Monday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to the Saline Animal League.
Born Oct. 10, 1931, in Slater, she was the daughter of the late Clarence O. DeWitt and Myrtle Beatrice Petty DeWitt. She had lived in Kansas City since 1979, previously living in Blue Springs. She was a secretary for many years as well as a homemaker.
Survivors include four sons, Lester Owen Rader of Chaska, Minn., Jerry Wayne Rader of Raytown, Carl Edward Rader of Overland Park, Kan., Ronald Glenn Rader of Conway, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Allen Rader; and one brother, Russell DeWitt.
