Mary Helen Kettler, 95, of Marshall, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall. Father Kevin Gormley will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in Slater City Cemetery in Slater. Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic Church in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
Born Sept. 19, 1910, in Slater, she was the daughter of the late Henry J. Kettler and Anna Louise Bader Kettler. She had lived in Marshall most of her life and was a 1928 graduate of Mercy Academy in Marshall. She had worked at the Marshall State School and Hospital as an accountant for over 30 years, previously working at the Marshall Chamber of Commerce and Rose and Buckner Clothing. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall.
Survivors include two sisters, Anna Louise Claypool of Fair Haven, N.J., and Martha E. Lenihan of LeMars, Iowa; four nephews; one niece; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother in infancy, Henry Kettler Jr., and a brother, Herbert Kettler.
