Eula L. Bohlken, 95, of Slater, died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006, at Big Bend Retreat in Slater.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at First Baptist Church in Slater. Rev. Robert Sisney will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the Slater City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the church or Big Bend Retreat.
Born Feb. 18, 1910, in Saline County, she was the daughter of the late Lewis H. and Martha Frances Johnson Edwards. On Nov. 8, 1931, in Marshall, she married Francis E. Bohlken, who preceded her in death Feb. 9, 1998. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Slater and a lifelong Saline County resident.
Survivors include one son, Ray Bohlken of Jefferson City; one daughter, Janette L. Crumpacker of Nashville, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Gene Bohlken; and one brother, Everett L. "Jack" Edwards.
