Robert Raymond Alspach, 80, of Marshall, died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2006, at Mar-Saline Manor in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Rev. Steven Soto will officiate. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Midway Baptist Church Stained Glass Fund.
Born Oct. 15, 1925, in Nelson, he was the son of the late Robert Roy Alspach and Margaret Louise Nichols Alspach. On Nov. 18, 1950, he married Shirley R. Conway, who survives of the home. He had lived in Saline County his entire life and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a truck driver for Quinn Concrete for over 40 years, retiring in 2000. He was a founding member of Midway Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon.
Additional survivors include three daughters, Judy Hartline of Marshall, Barbara Riddle of Huntsville and Patti Baxter of Marshall; one son, Michael Alspach of Marshall; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
