Ruby M. Zimmerman, 84, of rural Marshall, died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005, in rural Marshall.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, at First Baptist Church in Marshall. William W. Harlow will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jacent Boyd, William Boyd, Chris Shull, Kevin Shull and Kyle Shull. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, at the church. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to the family's choice in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.

Born May 24, 1921, in Knob Noster, she was daughter of the late George McDaniel and Clara Cox McDaniel. She married Albert Shull, who preceded her in death Feb. 16, 1968. On Aug. 1, 1975, she married Earl L. Zimmerman. She had lived in Saline County and Fayette most of her life and had worked at Banquet Foods, Blind Pony Restaurant and Bait Shop and The Coffee Shop.

Survivors include her children, Spencer "Butch" Shull and wife Donna of Syracuse, N.Y., Victor Shull and wife Sue of Fort Worth, Texas, Judy Boyd and husband Bob of rural Marshall and Mike Shull of Macon; one stepdaughter, Lois White and husband Richard of Marshall; three brothers, Marion "Bubby" McDaniel of Crowley, Texas, Harold McDaniel of rural Marshall and Kenneth McDaniel of Independence; one sister, Esther Richards of Marshall; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Hazel Meek, Clara Bell Hardison and Capitola Akeman; and three brothers, Roy, George and Charlie McDaniel.
