Bernard G. "Pete" Gaddy, 69, of Concordia, formerly of Marshall, died Friday, Dec. 30, 2005, at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
Cremation. Memorial graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, in Bethel Cemetery in Concordia. Rev. Jerry Basye will officiate.
Born Dec. 8, 1936, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Homer A. Gaddy and Ruby Jewell Bailey Gaddy. On Feb. 5, 2002, he married Mary Ann Schelp Halford, who survives of the home. He was a retired carpenter who had lived in Concordia the last eight years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Additional survivors include three sons, Larry Gail Gaddy of Napton, Jack Gaddy of Napton and Brandon Gaddy of Marshall; two daughters, Jeanelle Gaddy of Napton and Tina Gaddy of Napton; two brothers, Larry O'Neil Gaddy of Haysville, Kan., and Tim Gaddy of Warrensburg; two sisters, Mary Tucker of Wellington, Kan., and Regina Bockman of Marshall; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Pete Justin Gaddy; and one brother, Lynn Wesley Gaddy.
