Anthony Michael "Tony" Powers, 7, of Marshall, died Sunday, Dec. 18, 2005, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at First Baptist Church in Marshall. Rev. N. Paul Callahan and Rev. Vernon Maxted will officiate. Pallbearers will be David Shelton, LaRoy Redford, Eladio Cruz and Larry Lissolo. Honorary pallbearers will be Patrick Powers and Richard Lee. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, at the church. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to the family's choice in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.

Born Jan. 19, 1998, in Marshall, he was the son of Roger Dale Powers and Karolyn Rae Redford Powers, who survive of the home. He had lived in Marshall his entire life and was in the second grade at Southeast Elementary School. He attended First Baptist Church in Marshall.

Additional survivors include maternal grandparents, Jack Redford and his wife Della of Hutchinson, Kan., and Ella Redford of Gardner, Kan.; paternal grandfather, Walter P. Powers of Marshall; paternal grandmother Kay Henderson and husband Gene of Marshall; maternal great-grandmother Margaret Unruh of Hutchinson, Kan.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
