Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Friends may call until 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to the Marshall Parks and Recreation Department.
Born Nov. 17, 1929, in Brumley, Miller County, Missouri, he came to Saline County at a young age. He maintained an apartment in the J. Leo Hayob Building on South Redman until moving to Sweet Springs Villa in November 2005. He retired as a machinist at International Shoe Factory.
Survivors include his very special friends and caretakers, Marvin and Virginia Sprigg of Marshall; along with many other friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marzella Brown Maylee; grandmother, Mary Brown; and adoptive parents, Irvin and Bessie Capper.
