Dorothy Elaine Detring, 78, of Aurora, Colo., died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, at Colorado Medical Center in Denver, Colo.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at Taylor Funeral Home in Farmington. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

He was born July 24, 1927, in Farmington. He was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Aurora, Colo., and was a social worker in the Denver schools for 30 years.

Survivors include one sister, Kathryn Knipschild of Marshall; and two brothers, Walter Detring of Farmington and Stanley Detring of Morganfield, Ky.
