Charlotte D. Young, 85, of Bunceton, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2005, at Katy Manor Care Facility in Pilot Grove.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, in Bunceton Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Davis Funeral Chapel in Boonville. Memorials are suggested to Habitat for Humanity or Community Hospice.
Born April 28, 1920, in Malta Bend, she was the daughter of the late Charles Bela Moore and Harriet Ellen Dunn Moore. On Dec. 28, 1948, in Lexington, she married James Vohn Young, who preceded her in death Feb. 2, 1994.
Survivors include three sons, Harold Young of Peculiar, Lee Elgin of Bunceton and Robert Young of Bunceton; two daughters, Lois Bishop of Kearney and Sara Leonard of Boonville; one sister, Marguerite Fenner of Kansas City, Kan.; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Krumm; one brother, Mendel Moore; and one grandchild.
