Dale Wilson, 73, of Marshall, formerly of Thornton, Co., died Monday, Nov. 21, 2005, at Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital in Columbia, Mo.
Cremation. Private services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Marshall Cumberland Presbyterian Church in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
Born May 24, 1932, in Butte, Neb., he was the son of the late Cecil Wilson and Mildred Conn Wilson. On March 17,1978, he married Mary Ann Kick who survives of the home. He had lived in Marshall the past four years moving from Thornton, and was a certified public accountant most of his life retiring in 1994. He was a graduate of Butte High School in Butte, Neb. and attended the University of Denver in Colorado. He was a mason and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, American Legion Post 558 in Malta Bend and Marshall Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Additional survivors include three sons, Tim Wilson of Ft. Collins, Co., Todd Wilson of Oswego, Ill. and Trent Wilson of Black Diamond, Wa., three stepsons, Dave Mason of Hastings, Minn., Ken Mason of Lafayette, Co. and Steve Mason of the state of California; 14 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a brother, Keith Wilson of Ft. Collins, Co.; two sisters, Shirley Peyton of Colorado Springs, Co. and Dorothy Bachmann of Bonesteel, S.D.; and severalnieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
