Alice V. McDaniel, 87, of Slater, died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, at Slater City Cemetery. Rev. Robert Sisney officiated. Pallbearers were Cody Jenkins, Jeremy Pointer, Nicholas Malan, Chris Chamberlain, Mike Huston and George White Jr. Weiker Funeral Home in Slater was in charge of arrangements.
Born Dec. 4, 1917, in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Dilley and Freda Stephens Dilley. In 1974, she married Norman McDaniel, who survives of the home. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Slater.
Additional survivors include one daughter, Alice Janet Richards of Glendale, Ariz.; one sister, Frances Miller of Raymore; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Larry Tennill and an infant son; one daughter, Shirley DeHaven; one brother and one sister.
