Nona Mae Inskeep, 84, of Hutchinson, Kan., formerly of Nelson and Boonville, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005, at the hospital in Hutchinson.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Visitation will be from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to the Saline County Democrat Club.
Born June 14, 1921, at Nelson, she was the daughter of the late Tandy Newton and Mamie King Dix. On July 2, 1938, at Nelson, she married James Orton Inskeep, who preceded her in death Aug. 3, 1990. She had been a resident of Hutchinson since 2002, moving from Boonville. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include eight sons, James M. Inskeep of Kingston, Stephen Inskeep of Higginsville, David A. Inskeep of Hutchinson, Kan., Tony Inskeep of Mission, Kan., Wade Inskeep of Woodstock, Ga., William Inskeep of Pilot Grove, Paul D. Inskeep of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Matthew Inskeep of Nelson; two daughters, Sara Inskeep of Hutchinson, Kan., and Sue Hickam of New Franklin; two brothers, Floyd Dix of Olathe, Kan., and Roger Dix of San Diego, Calif.; five sisters, Irene Thomas of Independence, Ruby Johnston and Lorene Moore, both of Grain Valley, Ann Zeffiro of Overland Park, Kan., and Gladys Smith of Lee's Summit; 26 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Ann Williams.
