Kendall Lewis Jones, 18, of Marshall, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005, near Nelson.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at First Baptist Church in Marshall. Rev. Paul Callahan and William W. Harlow will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, at the church. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to the family's choice in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
Born Sept. 29, 1987, in Marshall, he was the son of Robert Lee Jones Sr. and Lola Christine Davenport Jones, who survive of the home. He had lived in Marshall his entire life and was a senior at Marshall High School, where he was a member of the football and wrestling teams. He was very athletic and loved the outdoors. He was very special to children and had a compassion for them.
Additional survivors include two brothers, Robert Lee Jones II and wife Shannon of Marshall and Zachary Tyler Jones of the home; maternal grandparents, William and Barbara Davenport of Marshall; paternal grandparents, Vernon and Velma Jones of rural Nelson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
