Helen Argubright McDaniel, 85, of Marshall, formerly of Arrow Rock, died Monday, Nov. 7, 2005, at her home.
Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Saline Animal League in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
Born June 25, 1920, in Anderson County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Samuel W. Argubright and Myrtle A. Giles Argubright. On Nov. 7, 1941, she married Robert Johnnie McDaniel, who preceded her in death July 15, 1989. She moved to Arrow Rock in 1980, from Memphis, Tenn., and had lived in Marshall since 2002. She was a homemaker and a member of the Arrow Rock Craft Club. She was also involved in the walking tours for Friends of Arrow Rock.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Barry McDaniel of rural Marshall and John Michael McDaniel of Nashville, Tenn.; one daughter, Patricia McDaniel of Boonville; one sister, Marietta Jones of Bartlett, Tenn.; three granddaughters; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Sam Argubright Jr.
