Lois E. Childers, 65, of Marshall, died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. William W. Harlow will officiate. Julie Lewis, pianist, will play "Amazing Grace," "How Great Thou Art" and "In the Garden." Pallbearers will be P.J. Wilder, Rusty Wilder, Richard Collins, Montie Mikle, Donald Durham and Doug Sandidge. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to Fitzgibbon-Mary Montgomery Hospice.
Born Sept. 9, 1940, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Jim Dennis and Fannie Narron Dennis Harper. She had lived in Marshall most of her life and had worked at Collins Pop Shop for many years and had been a cook.
Survivors include a special cousin and caretaker, Kay Bradshaw of Marshall; along with several other cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Robert A. Harper.
