Lucille Williams, 72, of Marshall, died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at Wayland Temple Church of God in Christ in Marshall. Rev. Charles Stephenson Jr. will officiate. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at H.T. May and Sun Funeral Home and from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Marshall.
Born March 3, 1933, in Stephens, she was the daughter of Chester and Clara Hickem Bly. She was a member of Aldridge Tabernacle in Slater and was a former member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, Okla., where she served on the Mother Board and as an usher. She was married to Robert Williams, who survives of the home.
Additional survivors include one son, John Logan of Marshall; three daughters, Vallory Combs and Lenette Railback, both of Marshall, and Linda Ross of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Nadine Bly of Marshall and Eunice Parker of Los Angeles, Calif.; 30 grandchildren and 64 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jesse Logan Jr., four brothers and three sisters.
