Erma Booth Webb, 87, of Independence, formerly of Slater and Buckner, died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005, in Independence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, at Speaks Funeral Home in Buckner. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Buckner Cemetery.
Born June 1, 1918, in Roodhouse, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Harry and Erie Booth of Slater. On June 1, 1946, she married Robert S. "Bob" Webb, who preceded her in death Feb. 26, 1974. They farmed in Buckner.
Survivors include one son, Darrell Webb of Buckner; two daughters, Linda Kay Grubb of Oak Grove and Jayne Lundy of Independence; three sisters, Joyce McMillan of Slater, Beverly Griffitt of Bogard and Irene Mullineaux of Washington, Ill.; two brothers, Leo "Gene" Booth of Marshall and Harry Booth Jr. of Riverside, Calf.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Velma Grafford, Ruth James and Nellie Hardin.
