Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, at Brandt Funeral Home in Dallas Center, Iowa. Jeffrey Wolf will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, with a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Clayton Cemetery in Van Meter, Iowa. Memorials are suggested to Covenant Presbyterian Church in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home, 226 S. Odell Ave., Marshall, MO, 65340.
Born in Guthrie County, Iowa, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Edith Wolf. In 1950, he married Roberta Clayton, who survives of the home. The couple lived in the state of Iowa until moving to Marshall in 1967. He worked for Hyline Chicks, where he served as past president of the Missouri Poultry Association, and Wick Buildings. He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Marshall, where he served as an elder. He was active in Boy Scouts and participated in volunteer work in the community. He helped to establish the Marshall Dialysis Center. He was a 48-year Master Mason, member of Pioneer Lodge No. 22, A.F. & A.M., Des Moines Scottish Rite Bodies and Za-Ga-Zig Shrine A.A.O.N.M.S. in Des Moines, Iowa.
Additional survivors include two sons, Matthew Wolf of Marshall, Jeffrey Wolf and wife Janice of Flower Mound, Texas; four sisters, Louise, Margaret, Marilyn and Patsy; one brother, Terry Wolf; and three grandchildren, Adam, Delaney and Kinnisen.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenny Wolf and Ernie Wolf; and three sisters, Leanne, Evelyn and Nadine.
