Jane Cassiday Stone, 68, died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2005.

Jane passed away at her home in The Villages, Fla., after an 11-year battle with cancer. She taught in the North Kansas City School District for 30 years, where she was a valued educator and successful coach. After retirement, Jane and her husband relocated to the state of Florida.

Jane is survived by her mother, Mary Cassiday of Marshall; husband, Jim Stone of the home; one son, Todd Stone of Cape Coral, Fla.; and many loving friends.

Contact Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall, as arrangements are pending. The family suggest that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of one's choice.
