Harry A. Plattner Jr., 74, of Jamaica Beach, Texas, died Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Webster, Texas.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

He was born on June 29, 1931, in Marshall. He married Sandy Johnson, who survives of the home. He was a retired salesman and member of the Masonic Lodge AF & AM.

Additional survivors include four daughters, Jaime Johnson of Galveston, Texas, Pam Woodland of Indianola, Iowa, Georgia Clemons of Columbia and Hope Newsom of Mexico.
