Davida Callaway Welch, 42, of Salem, formerly of Marshall, died Thursday, July 14, 2005.
Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 18, at First Baptist Church in Salem. Rev. Russ Davidson officiated. Pallbearers were Brandon Welch, Jacob Welch, Richard Morhardt, Colin Callaway, Clifton Callaway, Robert Seelke, Bryan Morhardt and Tom Welch. Burial was in North Lawn Cemetery in Salem. Memorials are suggested to North Wood R-4 Preschool, First Baptist Church of Salem library or Salem Public Library in care of James and Gahr Mortuary in Salem.
Born May 30, 1963, in Lexington, she was the daughter of David and Gloria Callaway, who survive of Marshall.
Additional survivors include husband Chris Welch of Salem, one daughter, Kayla Welch of the home, three brothers, David Callaway Jr. of Belton, Michael Callaway of Topeka, Kan., and Dennis Callaway of Wheaton, Ill.; one sister, Deana McCoy of Topeka, Kan.; and several nieces and nephews.
