Eileen Kiso, 82, of Slater, died Monday, July 11, 2005, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, at Weiker Funeral Home in Slater. Rev. Jess Spurgin will officiate. Bethany Weiker, organist, will play "How Great Thou Art" and "One Day at a Time." Pallbearers will be Charles Myrick, Jerry Davis, Walter Taylor, Beno Messer, Charlie Guthrie and Robert Newman. Burial will be in Slater City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Slater ambulance district or Gilliam United Methodist Church.
Born Oct. 28, 1922, near Miami, she was the daughter of the late Theiss and Mary Belle Davis Herrmann. On April 12, 1947, in Kansas City, Kan., she married Emerson J. Kiso, who preceded her in death Dec. 9, 1986. She was a member of Gilliam United Methodist Church and a lifelong Saline County resident.
Survivors include one son, John Kiso of Slater; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters.
