Minnie A. Bange, 102, of Marshall, died Tuesday, July 5, 2005, at Mar-Saline Manor in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 8, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Chapel in Marshall. Rev. Pam Sebastian will offiiciate. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to First Presbyterian Church or charity of the donor's choice.
Born Jan. 23, 1903, in Horton, Kan., she was the daughter of the late George William Yates and Melvina Brott Yates. On July 21, 1927, in Liberty, she married Jules L. Bange, who preceded her in death Feb. 5, 1963. She had lived in Marshall since 1952, moving from Kansas City. She owned and operated Bange's Fabric Store, which opened in April 1953, and she retired in 1970. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Marshall and Marshall Chapter 408 Order of the Eastern Star.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son in infancy, three brothers and one sister.
