William Samuel "Bobo" Case, 79, of Independence, died Thursday, June 23, 2005, at Regency Care Center in Independence.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 27, at Chapel of Memories in Grain Valley. Burial was in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens in Grain Valley. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Born March 22, 1926, in Marshall, he was the son of John W. and Berta Case. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and also volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America, Mic-O-Say Tribe.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Sue Dewitt Case of Independence; one son, Michael Case and wife Helen of Blue Springs; one daughter, Terry Trezise of Independence; three sisters, Margaret Clemons, Jeanie Mistler and Mary Ann Young, all of Marshall; four granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and four nephews.
