Marie G. Good, 82, of Marshall, died Sunday, June 12, 2005, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall. Father Kevin Gormley will officiate. Prayer services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic Church Building Fund.
Born April 19, 1923, in Kansas City, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Elizabeth Sturm. On Oct. 4, 1941, she married Jack R. Good, who preceded her in death Sept. 8, 1981. She had lived in Marshall since 1955, moving from Kansas City. She was a graduate of Loretta Academy in Kansas City. She retired from the Marshall Habilitation Center after 23 years of service. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella and had been a member of A.B.W.A.
Survivors include three daughters, Anita M. Harris of Marshall, Carol S. Slack of Liberty and Jessie A. Helton and husband Mark of Wescosville, Pa.; two grandchildren, Dennis Slack II and Deborah A. Harris; four great-grandsons, Nathan, Dylan, Joshua and Tyler; one brother, Robert Sturm of Stanberry; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
