Laura L. Roscher, 100, of Marshall, died Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at Mar-Saline Manor Care Center in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2005, at Sweeney-Reser-Wills Funeral Home in Marshall. Elders Gwen Banks and Cherryl Flandermeyer will officiate. Organist Maxine Scott will play "How Great Thou Art" and "Just a Closer Walk With Thee." Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Community of Christ Church in Marshall.
Born Jan. 3, 1905, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late M.E. "Elmer" Tribble and Alma Ballard Tribble. On Oct. 14, 1942, in Marshall, she married Henry Roscher, who preceded her in death May 19, 1972. She was a resident of Marshall most of her life and had worked for 21 years at International Shoe Company and 15 years at ConAgra Foods before her retirement. She was a member of Community of Christ Church in Marshall.
Survivors include one brother, Robert D. Tribble of Los Angeles, Calif.; seven nephews and six nieces.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Elsie E. Cole; brother-in-law, Charles Cole; and one nephew, Richard T. Cole.
