Selma Faye Graf, 86, of Concordia, died Saturday, May 14, 2005, at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, at St. John United Church of Christ in Emma. Rev. Jerry Basye will officiate. Pallbearers will be John Jackson, Gary Maggert, J.D. Diamond, Larry Schnakenberg, Randy Frerking and Everett Hinck. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery in Emma. Memorial are suggested to St. John United Church of Christ in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia.
Born March 30, 1919, southwest of Alma, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Carrie Beal VanMeter. On July 3, 1948, she married Granver Graf, who preceded her in death July 15, 2001. She worked at International Shoe Factory in Sweet Springs for many years, was city collector for the city of Concordia and was custodian of Concordia Bank. She served on the flower committee for the Concordia Fall Festival.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
