Jeffrey Charles Brown, 36, of Kansas City, died Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, at St. Therese Church in Parkville. Father Mike Roach will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tim Carroll, Kevin Carroll, Matt Hartwig, Tim Baker, Tapper Tilgner and James Sebastian. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 16, at the church. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Kansas City. Memorials are suggested to the Brown Family Memorial Fund in care of Bank of America, 8153 Prairie View Rd., Kansas City, MO 64118.
Born Dec. 24, 1968, in Kansas City, he was the son of Barbara and Charles Brown, who survive of Independence. On Sept. 22, 1997, he married Maureen Carroll, who survives of the home. He was a 1987 graduate of Truman High School in Independence and a 1992 graduate of University of Missouri-Kansas City. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Parkville and worked as a technical sales engineer for SBC Communication.
Additional survivors include one son, Nicholas Brown of the home; one daughter, Hannah Brown of the home; one sister, Kyndra Baker and husband Tim of Independence; parents-in-law Joe and Marie Carroll of Marshall; and one sister-in-law Peggy Carroll Sherman of Marshall.
