Mildred Juanita Wyman, 83, of Marshall, formerly of Chillicothe, died Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 13, at Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Friends may call from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at the funeral home. Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Chillicothe. Born July 25, 1921, in Mt. Moriah, she was the daughter of the late Herbert S. and Vivian A. Bussell Gathman. On May 28, 1966, in Chillicothe, she married Donald E. Wyman, who preceded her in death Jan. 11, 1974. She was a 1939 graduate of Princeton High School and attended Maryville State Teachers College for two years. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone as an operator from 1944 until 1979. In 1964, she moved from Trenton to Chillicothe. She moved to Marshall in 2001. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Marshall.
Survivors include one daughter, Carol Anne Hein and husband Charles of Marshall; two stepdaughters, Carolyn Seagraves of San Diego, Calif., and Joan Casebolt of Kansas City; one brother, Robert R. Gathman and wife Emma of Davenport, Iowa; one grandson, Chris Hein of Columbia; one stepdaughter-in-law, Kay Guess of Trenton; six stepgrandchildren; nine stepgreat-grandchildren; two nephews and one niece.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one stepson, Marvin Burson.
