Norma Charlotte Bublitz, 90, of Marshall, died Sunday, May 8, 2005, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Cremation. Memorial graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 12, at Lakeview Cemetery in Clear Lake, S.D. Rev. Michael Enderley will officiate. Memorials are suggested to Trinity Episcopal Church in Marshall in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
Born Oct. 24, 1914, in Strandburg, S.D., she was the daughter of the late Erick Olson and Alma Gustafsson Olson. In 1939, she married Elmer Ernest Bublitz, who preceded her in death Jan. 2, 1980. She had lived in Marshall since 1971 and was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Strandburg High School in the state of South Dakota. She was a member of The Monday Club, Sons of Norway, VASA order of America and previously volunteered for the American Red Cross.
Survivors include one son, Jerome "Jerry" Bublitz of Marshall; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Lawrence Bublitz; and three sisters.
