Wally Dautenhahn, 42, of Marshall, died Sunday, May 8, 2005.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marshall. Rev. Douglas A. Dubisar will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
Born April 13, 1963, in Marshall, he was the son of Walter August Dautenhahn and Wilma Faye Kleinschmidt Dautenhahn, who survive of Marshall. On Sept. 18, 1986, he married Susan M. Landreth, who survives of the home. He had lived in Marshall his entire life and was a 1981 graduate of Marshall High School. He worked for Marshall Municipal Utilities for several years and had worked with his father at Dautenhahn Construction. He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marshall.
Additional survivors include one daughter, Jennifer Dautenhahn of the home; one son, Andy Dautenhahn of the home; three sisters, Faye Meyer of Marys Home, Vickie Dametz of Marshall and Judy Dautenhahn of St. Charles; and several nieces and nephews.
